Checker plate, also known as diamond plate or tear plate. It was composed with regular pattern of raised diamonds or lines on one side, with the reverse side being featureless. It's normally made by No. 1, but also can be made by other finish like 2B or 2D.

Stainless steel is essentially a low carbon steel which contains chromium at 10% or more by weight. It is this addition of chromium that gives the steel its unique stainless, corrosion-resisting properties.
